In this video we show our in-house laboratory in Wolfratshausen. Many of the appliances our patients wear during orthodontic treatment are made here – individually, digitally planned and crafted by our qualified team of dental technicians.
What our laboratory makes
We produce removable braces, functional orthodontic appliances such as twin blocks, activators, bionators and Fränkel appliances, clear stabilisation splints and aligner trays, as well as Herbst hinges, Forsus springs, retainers and retention plates.
Digitally planned, precisely made
Today we plan many appliances digitally, which means a comfortable fit and high precision. The positions of ceramic brackets and modern self-ligating brackets are also planned on the computer; the brackets are then bonded indirectly with a transfer template, so each one sits exactly where it was planned.
Mago functional splints are planned for every patient individually along the hinge axis of the jaw joints, in specialised software. That way the splint fits not only the teeth but also the way the jaw joints work.
3D printing and laser technology in-house
Our laboratory has several 3D printers and a laser device for joining digital metal workpieces. Because everything is made in-house, we can guarantee the highest quality and short turnaround times – even when a repair is needed.
